What's involved in changing the colour of a car?

I have just aquired a white car. My old car was decorated with vinyl stickers but I can't think of what would look good on white so want to consider changing the colour of this one. I have absolutely no idea how this works though%26quot;What's involved in changing the colour of a car?...you go to a body shop or a customizing shop..tell then what color you want it...and they will tell you how much it is... you tell them 'ok' ...then they paint it!!!

Any color your heart desires. They prep and repaint car to the color that you picked.

they strip off the old paint with a liquid, then paint it with a primer to keep the bare metal from rusting, them paint it any color you want. pinstripping and all.
changing color is easy..BUT...can be a bit costly..door jams and hood/trunk can add to the cost if you want a good job...I do paint and bodywork and know what is involved...and the paint doesnt need to be strip..it lightly sanded and painted over....AL
first, sand, then primer, fine sand primer, seal primer, use a compatible paint. wet sand with fine sandpaper. then clear coat... contact a body shop its definely a chore. or find a vinyl company to make a sticker for the whole car. either way its expensive.
