Does changing Transmission fluid early in a car help?

I drive 60 miles everyday in stop and go traffic. I have 36,000 miles on my car and recently changed the transmission fluid. Is this going to help with my car with gas mileage and/or help the transmission last longer?Does changing Transmission fluid early in a car help?Only my experience but, everytime I've changed the tranny fluid in my car(s), the tranny ends up w/ problems. I will never change it on another car. Check the level only.

%26quot;maybe%26quot; it might last longer. Won't get better mpg. for that, get a 5 speed.
Does changing Transmission fluid early in a car help?
It will not help..The fluid is designed to last forever
if your car is older and you want to change it then it will be better for it and yes make it last longer. todays trans fluid will last 100 000 miles so it probably wont help it
Refer to your owners manaul it will give you the answer.
It is very important to change your fluids regularly. Oil changes should be done regularly, changing filters, and all your other fluids should be done at regular intervals. For example getting oil changes done every 3 months or 3,000 miles will keep your oil levels up and put fresh oil. If you level gets to low or if the oil becomes a sludge because it is too old it can do some damage to your engine. On your transmission keeping your fluid fresh and up to level will keep your transmission in good shape. Same thing with the engine if the fluid gets low it can cause the transmission to blow. It is very important to do your preventative maintence keeps your car running well. Granted their are parts that are going to break but you can minimize this by doing the preventative maintenece. Those places that do the 12 point inspection your car are looking at all your fluid levels, tire pressure, etc.

As long as you upkeep your car you will get a lot of years and miles off of it. But if you don't take care of it things are going to break.
