Is this car worth to buy?

I am changing car right now. I want to buy a used card. Is Kia Optima a good choice? It is a 2001 model. Here are the pecs:

-V6

-Clean as new from inside and outside

-The dealer said it uns like new

-Cloth seats

-83000 miles

-CD, AC, cassette, etc.

The dealer is selling this car for $4200. Is this a good deal?

And how many miles does it run in one gallon?



ThanksIs this car worth to buy?No, don't buy a KIA. Especially with 83k on it, go Japanese! The car will run for a lot longer and will hold up better in all aspects. Kia's are garbage, they aren't designed to run more than 100k miles, just remember, you get what you pay for. Buy a Honda, it will save you money in the long run, and it gets better gas mileage

Kias are much better than they used to be, but a 2001 model with 83K isn't a good investment unless they have all the maintainance records on it. It should get 30ish MPH highway.
Keep looking at your options, For that money you could still get a diesel VW that will get double the mileage of any gas car. Diesels are also built to last and since they have no electronic ignition system, are more reliable. 500,000 miles on the original engine is possible.
