Horns that play Colonel Bogey were outlawed years ago. Gutted!
You can,as far as i know, change your car horn to single or multitone without a problem. But you are not allowed to use horns that play a tune on the road. They are supposed to be for off road use only and must be on a seperate switch. You will sometimes find cars fitted with 2 different horns and a switch labelled Town and Country.

As for me? I want a big diesel train horn..the sound would look truely daft coming from a little Peuguot!! ...
you can have single tone air horn on any car if you want musical the car must be older than 1972
As long as it's a single tone (e.g. not like a police car) any horn is fine as long as the tone is continuous and not harsh/grating.
