What do you do when you get car gasoline in your ear?

My husband was working on his old car, changing the fuel filter in his car and the line came apart and he got gasoline in his ear. What do you do when you get car gasoline in your ear?Gasoline is a skin irritant I can imagine his ear canal will be irritated for a few days. he would be smart to try and wash out as much as he can. Just don't light a match close to his head.

I would have washed/showered as best as I could. While showering I'd have my wife call poison control 1-800-222-1222. Then I'd get to the hospital to make sure none got into the ear canal.

Yikes!
I surmise that the best course of action would be to call poison control in your area 1-800-222-1222. Obviously rinsing out the gas would be a good idea, The ear canal is sensitive area I'd make sure you don't need medical help.
Wash your ear. If you have one of those baby %26quot;snot-sucker%26quot; bulbs, or a turkey baster, you can use it to flush out the ear canal. Use warm, soapy water.
Bring him to the Hospital to make sure there is no infection or other issues with the ear canal
lots of Q-tips and soapy water or just let the gasoline evaporates.
