Should I change car registration: Moving from AZ to NY for work...?

I am moving from AZ to NY for work. I will be renting an apartment in NY, but will still own my house in AZ. Since I have a residence in AZ, could I keep the car registered there, even if the car will be in NY most of the time for probably the next 6 months? In terms of insurance, it would be a lot cheaper to keep the car with its AZ registration, but that be a major issue if I had an accident or incident in NY?Should I change car registration: Moving from AZ to NY for work...?Your car must be registered in the state you legaly reside in.You won't get in any trouble if you don't change the registration.Hopefully that helps

You need to declare one residence, where all of your legal documents, will be housed. I would think finding parking available in NY, would be highly difficult. Maybe better to leave the car in AZ, and cab ride in NY.
