Why is there no power in my car after changing my battery?

I was changing the battery on my 87 honda prelude and accidently hooked up the positive wire with the negative outlet on the battery Now the car has no power whatsoever. What is wrong with it and how do i fix it with minimal cost.Why is there no power in my car after changing my battery?You blew the main fuse!!!

More and likely you probably fried your battery and if you did that you need to go buy a new one. You can have your battery tested at a part store it will tell you if it is good or bad.
