Changing my car title?

i am moving overseas

am leaving my car to my friend to sell it off..

in case, if he finds a buyer..can the buyer get the registration and title changed to his name, without me being here physically...what other options do we got..Changing my car title?In the USA, it would depend on your state. Some states require the sellers signature to be notarized. In other states, you could simply pre sign the title. You may want to consider giving your friend power of attorney for just this transaction. Look it up online or ask in the law section of Y/A for info on POA.
