YES! you can, but first you have to look in the stock unit to see if there'is a pre amp output (RCA cable), if so just connect a RCa cable from here to the amplifier inputs.



If the stock unit has no outputs, then you need to make sure the amplifier has high level speaker input. (it connects the speaker wires coming from the unit to the amplifier inputs.



If the amplifier doesnt support the speaker inputs, then you need a line output converter. Is a device that convert the high level output audio signal to a low voltage pre amp audio signal, then it connects to the amp.

yeah u can.. but i wouldnt recommend it at alllllll.. i have a 2000 eclipse gt and i put a new head unit, and a JL Sub with a JL amp in the trunk... it sounds beautiful.. it did have the factory infinity sound system in there but i hated it... ull be very happy if u change the head unit because its so much louder and sounds so much better.. plus it helps ur subs out by giving them more power..

you will be much happier with a aftermarket head unit. You will have more control and better sound and there are alot of good inexspensive head units on te market right now.
