I need to renew my driver's license in my new state this week and am wondering how that all affects my car in my old state. I am still back and forth for awhile and plan to drive it when I'm back there (and a friend drives it there now). You must be a resident of the state to have the car reregistered in that state. You will be fine until your tags expire.

check with a local cop states say 10 day license and reg but ck with the dmv as well
